In September 2016, a recruiter from a software company emailed me about an opportunity to work for “a leading advertising / marketing SaaS platform who were looking to expand their London team”. I was in a meeting when I opened the email on my phone and wasn’t able to take the time to reply, so I saved it to read and revisit later. The job description looked interesting but I wanted to do a little digging before getting back to him.
Fast forward to December 2016 (many months after receiving the initial email) I came across the email I had started to write back to the recruiter hidden in my draft folder.
AKA the folder where dreams go to die.
I had completely forgotten about my unfinished response to the recruiter, which was now rotting away at the bottom of my drafts folder.
Since then, my team and I have been working on actionable.me.
